ERA This is an original army issue combat helmet. This item has been partially restored. It has been repainted to match the original combat green color. There are two decals, which have been distressed to replicate matching age. The inner leather liner and chinstrap are the same type for army issue of that era and may or may not be original to this helmet. The rear mounting rivet is absent. The liner has been replaced with a newer one andwebbing reads: LOT 6 on oen side and ground troops helmet liner "Winston - Salem" on the other. The cold stamp on the pot is: 108E.
