Last year Roger and I took a day trip, from Eagle River to the Garmisch Resort. I had read about in the internet, and boy, was it ever scenic, a beautiful lake surrounding the resort. We can highly recommend it. And then, we drove into Hayward, a town I'd always wanted to visit. You see, a long-standing friend of mine, Marge Congreve, had been vacationing in Hayward for over 25 years. Now I can appreciate why Marge always longed to go back to Hayward. It is a charming little town. Vacationers are smiling, shopping for souvenirs, visiting from all over. Downtown, some folks relax on benches surrounded by beautiful flowers, exchanging stories, and yes, fishing is definitely a must for the anglers. Marge told me many stories about fishing, and how sweet each fresh catch tasted.
